Chelan Kids Naturopathic Medicine offers comprehensive pediatric primary care from birth to age 20. From newborn visits to illnesses, sports physicals, and so much more, we treat all children with a holistic, individualized approach.
Routine Wellness Visits
From birth to age 20, we provide routine wellness or “Well-Child” visits. These visits are comprehensive and encompass all of the general health screenings necessary at each age interval. We will focus on preventative care, nutrition, sleep, behavior, and milestones, as well as perform a head-to-toe physical exam. We will discuss age-appropriate vaccines and there will be time for administration if desired.
Vaccinations
Vaccinations are a large part of providing comprehensive primary care pediatrics. At Chelan Kids, we value each and every family’s choices regarding vaccination. That means that we offer all of the vaccines on the pediatric vaccination schedule. Our vaccine counseling services include an in-depth discussion of all age-appropriate vaccines with questions answered in a respectful and non-judgmental environment. We understand that it is every parent’s right to make choices regarding their child. After a thorough discussion, parents decide whether they would like vaccines administered or not.
Acute (Sick) Care
When your child is sick and needs to be seen same-day or within a few days. These visits are problem-focused and are for concerns such as sore throat, ear pain, stomach pain, coughs, injuries, etc. In-office testing can be performed as needed (influenza, strep, urine tests, etc.). Recommendations for treatment will be made and medications prescribed as needed.
Adult Services
Now offering intramuscular Vitamin B12 injections by appointment only.
Ongoing/Chronic Conditions
Visits for concerns that are not acute (urgent) and may have been going on for some time.
Adjunctive care for chronic conditions.
Referrals to specialists or imaging as needed.
Routine and specialty lab testing.
Medication and supplement prescribing and management.
